Erik Rothchild is the founder and creator of the original Whey Protein Energy Drink. And when Erik isn’t crushing it in the gym, training for his next race or rapping like Eminem (yep, beleedat!)…he’s running a premier sports drink company and bringing the message of health and living life “The FitWhey” to new faces everyday. We had a chance to catch up with the hardest working man in the sports drink industry during a brief moment of down time (which for you and me is still like a sprint). What are you most passionate about on a professional level?
Erik: On a professional level, I’d say that I’m pretty passionate about and really enjoy, helping people achieve their fitness goals – whether by example or by consuming FitWhey.

How do you overcome problems and challenges?
Erik: I look for the way around, over or through them and execute. I don’t like to waste time with things that can be overcome quickly. Get it done and move on!

Erik: Promptness.  I have always been on time and I appreciate others that respect the same.

What is a typical day like for you?
Erik: Wake up and make coffee…lol. Even though I drink a FitWhey later when I work out I like a cup of joe in the morning. Get the kids and wife off to school and work and start my business day.  It could be working online with something regarding Amazon or doing in store samplings.  You can bet that I will find an hour to squeeze in a workout.  Have to Live Life the FitWhey!
